Another concert in the “Church in Session” series at Startbahn, in Neukölln.
Doors at 7, music by 8. Entry is by donation, and like all of these shows, it’s all-ages, smoke-free, and handicap accessible.
Everyday Talk
Everyday Talk is a rock band based in Berlin inspired by realms of fantasy, neo-psychedelia and sounds of longing from pop music of the 1960s & ‘70s.
This special church concert will also be the release show for their first set of songs they have put out into the world, the Overflow EP (available on Bandcamp and streaming services).
Foundling
Foundling make serene, psychedelic pop and ambient experimental new age music. With delicate vocals and lush instrumentation, their music recalls the psych folk and exotica of the 60s and weaves through ethereal landscapes with a feel of the fantasy film soundtracks of the 80s. Lyrically tracing the edges of illusion and mirage, jungles and desert islands and the depths of alternate realities.
Foundling’s live show gently leads you through hot nights and misty forests to dream about..
Foundling are a 5 piece international touring band formed by Erin Lang originally from Montreal, Canada (voice, bass, harp) with Samuel Hall (percussion) Peter Hanson (flute and sax) Constantine Karlis (drums) and Rieku Okuda (synths) now based in Berlin.
For this very special evening in the beautiful colourful church in Herrfurthplatz, Foundling will be guiding you through their last album ‘Equilibria”s steamy tropical nights and premiering some new ambient landscapes based around the harp from their forthcoming release ‘Artemesia’.
